La Orotava, Tenerife, Canary Islands. 15 May 2021. The Asociacion de Alfombristas, Association of Carpet Makers, who traditionally make flower carpets in the streets of the town to celebrate Corpus Christi make their carpets in courtyards and patios this year due to Covid 19 restrictions. Usually the streets of La Orotava are thronged with visitors to see the annual celebration but this year the crowds are not here, and there is a much reduced number of displays created.
